The Deep Search Agent is Fileread's advanced search technology that combines multiple search methodologies to deliver more accurate and comprehensive results. It integrates traditional keyword-based searching (dtSearch), metadata field analysis, and semantic understanding to help users find exactly what they're looking for.
Keyword Syntax (i.e. dtSearch) - Enables precise text-based searches with boolean operators and wildcards
Metadata Field Search - Allows filtering by document properties and custom fields
Semantic Search - Understands context and meaning beyond exact keyword matches
The Deep search agent requires configuration to be enabled on your workspaces. Each workspace will require a description of the cases and entities you want the model to consider. The agent also requires an understanding of the metadata fields (examples shown below) in order to build the metadata queries. Please work with your Fileread teammate to get this configured per workspace.
